It’s been several months in the making, but the Poly Light is now ready to face the public at this month’s Design Show in Liverpool. Quite a mathematical challenge for myself, where I have taken six circles to create a Spherical Polyhedron.

It has certainly tested my patience and perseverance. I hope you like it!

I only discovered this whilst browsing through Magma’s incredible range of books last week.

The book acts as a modern-day ‘letraset’ and features over 1000 vector based drawings of a variety of objects. This is a great resource which takes away the painstaking process of creating accurate vector drawings.

This is something I picked up in San Francisco’s MOMA store, which is great.

I have finally added notes to our board

Opening a new tub of lurpak the other day brought a smile to my face. Sad, but true (good message aswell). This surely is a good thing with branding?!?! I like their thinking using an inner label to advertise that little bit further…

I just had to share this with you all. This guy is an awesome drummer and had me mesmerised! Type ‘Andrea Vadrucci’ into youtube and you can watch him play along to more familiar tunes including Super Mario tunes!

Daniel Clowes is known as one of the best cartoonists of his generation and I have to say I agree. He most definately one of my favorites. His Graphic Novel Ghost World was turned into a feature film by MGM in 2002 starring the wonderful Thora Birch (great movie you should watch it!). Other titles include David Boring and Ice Haven. If you get chance check them out, they make a good read.
